Nitric Oxide Helps Minimize Biofilm
07/01/2020

Biofilm is a collective of one or more types of microorganisms that include bacteria fungi and protists. Basically, biofilm is an outgrowth of viral or bacterial infections. Biofilms have the ability to adhere to surfaces and protect itself from dessication and increase resistance to antibiotics.

One common example of a biofilm is dental plaque, a slimy buildup of bacteria that forms on the surface of teeth. It can grow on plant tissues and animal tissues, and on implanted medical devices.

A study out of the Pasteur Institute proposes that, similar to bacterial biofilms, viral biofilms could represent 'viral communities' with enhanced infectious capacity and better proliferation compared with 'free' viral particles, and this constitutes a key factor for chronic infections.

Biofilm doesn’t make headline news, but you should know what it is because in large amounts it’s quite destructive and can be dangerous if left unchecked. Biofilm in most often found in the intestines and oral and nasal passages. Biofilm is extremely difficult to eradicate by antimicrobial treatment.

Don’t take getting a cold or flu lightly because every virus we acquire means a higher amount of biofilm from that virus which accumulates in our bodies.

According to the 2004 article in Nature Reviews Microbiology, Fungal biofilms cause infections by growing on implanted devices like breast implants, pacemakers and prosthetic cardiac valves and have also been known to cause infective endocarditis and pneumonia in those with cystic fibrosis. According to a 2014 article published in the journal Cold Spring Harbor Perspectives in Medicine. Candida biofilm species also grow on human body tissues, leading to diseases such as vaginitis and yeast infections that develop in the mouth or throat.

The more viruses the more biofilm potential which equals greater chance of chronic infections. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) noted that biofilms accounted "for over 80 percent of microbial infections in the body."

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about one in three humans carries Staphylococcus aureus, or better known as staph, in our noses, and two percent of us carry the dreaded methicillin-resistant known as (MRSA) strain that thwarts common antibiotics. Imagine that is just in our noses.

The good news is nitric oxide is a well-known deterrent to biofilm. Nitric oxide reduces biofilm by de-structuring biofilm mass. That means it pulls apart this mass of toxic cells where antibiotics fail.

Biofilm is a bacteria that has evolved and outsmarted antibiotics. Antibiotics aren’t able to penetrate the surface layer of this toxic mass. However, nitric oxide, simply pulls it apart until there’s nothing left. NO SIDE EFFECTS!

Cardio Miracle nitric oxide supplement not only minimizes biofilm but it boosts your immunity to fight off viral assaults with two key ingredients and a host of others that help to protect and prevent colds and flus. Vitamin D3 and the complex of ingredients that trigger your body to product nitric oxide are essential to building the immune system. Vitamin D is well-documented for its anti-viral capabilities and is showing new evidence in preventing respiratory infections.

A Harvard University study found that mice with staphylococcal pneumonia that lacked the gene needed to generate nitric oxide developed more severe disease. This demonstrated that nitric oxide can suppress the production of toxins during an infection and researchers believe protection continues even when there is no ongoing infection as well.

Another study in 1997 showed that nitric oxide played a protective role against Klebsiella pneumonia infection in the lung. And there are dozens of other studies that now show the immune system uses nitric oxide as a weapon against many microbes including viruses, parasites, bacteria and fungi.

We now know that Bacteria often finds a way to evolve so they can resist the effects of antibiotics, but curiously S aureus is unable to resist the effect of nitric oxide. By taking the proper dose of nitric oxide daily you can ward off harmful biofilm and fight infection while boosting immunity.
